Thank you for checking the FAQ's

Q: How can I get an answer to a question?

A: Message us on Facebook, ideally between 8 AM - 9 PM for quickest response or send an email.

Q: Am I able to register at West Pasco Little League?

A: All players league age 4 - 7 are able.  Any older sibling of a player league age 4 - 7 registered with WPLL would also have full eligibility.  If not players 8 years of age or older must reside, attend school, or have a waiver to be eligible.  For more information regarding boundaries click here.

Q: Where will the 2026 Spring season be held?

A:  At Pine Hill Park!  Older teams play an interleague schedule within District 12.  AA, AAA, and Major Division teams may have the opportunity to play in D12 tournaments or interleague with another league.

Q: Can I register in person?  If so, when and where?

A: Yes, for those who prefer this method or for those who wish to pay via cash or check you can come to Pine Hill Park during any preseason event which will be posted on social media.  However, to lock in Early Bird pricing reach out via Facebook or email prior to that pricing expiring.

Q: Can a divisions registration close prior to the season beginning (early)?

A: Yes!  If registrations exceed the number of registered volunteers to make another team that division is subject to close early.  WPLL does not over fill rosters.  If there is an obstacle, including financial, to registering please email or reach out via Facebook to lock in a roster spot which locks in that days pricing.

Q: What are the costs to register at West Pasco Little League?

A: The earlier registration is completed the more you save!!

"BEST EARLY BIRD" available before 12/15/25:

Tee Ball & "A" divisions = $65

All other divisions = $125

Q: Is there a payment plan available?

A: Yes!  Please message us on Facebook, ideally between 8 AM - 9 PM for quickest response or send an email.  WPLL offers a payment plan for parents to avoid the transaction fees.  This is why we need you contact WPLL to set up the payment plan option.  Pricing is locked with commitment date.

Q: What is included in my registration costs?

A: Every player receives a jersey and a hat.  In the AAA division and younger all players receive an end of season award.  In the Major Division the "Top Team" receives an award.  All other registration monies go to league expenses such as field reservations, insurance(s), charter fees, district fees, umpire fees, equipment fees, operational fees, etc.

Q: When are the A, AA, & AAA Division player evaluations (Tee Ball does not have player evaluations)?

A: Currently, Friday January 15th & Saturday, January 16th.  Please follow our Facebook page for event posting as the season nears.  Some divisions may offer a secondary date but it is highly encourage to be available on the above dates for the league assigned time slot.

Q: When are the Major & Junior Division player tryouts (Senior Division tryout is TBD)?

A: Currently, Saturday, January 9th starting at 10 AM.  Please follow our Facebook page for event posting as the season nears.  Some divisions may offer a secondary date but it is highly encourage to be available on 1/9/26 for your assigned time slot.  (Senior Division will be set, if necessary, at a later date).

Q: Why does my child need to attend a player evaluation or tryout for Little League baseball?

A: Evaluations are to help ensure players are placed properly, according to their skill set.  Tryouts are set for drafting divisions.  At a tryout a player displays their skill set for head coaches who must draft (players) according to their roster needs.  Failure or refusal to attend a tryout removes a players ability to be drafted and at WPLL this then removes a players eligibility to be selected for an All-Star tournament team.

Q: What if my child is not drafted into a draft eligible division?

A: All players registered while registration is open will be assigned to a WPLL team, so long as head coaches are available.  IE any player not drafted on to a Major roster is assigned to a Minor division team & a player not drafted on to a Junior roster is assigned to an Intermediate (50/70) division team.

Q: Does WPLL need volunteers?

A: YES!!  Little League is a volunteer organization.  WPLL welcomes and works with our amazing volunteers around their personal availability.  Please consider registering for a volunteer role when registering your child.  Any and all adults who wish to be on the field of play or inside the dugout must be registered as a league volunteer.  You can also register after registering by selecting the role you are interested in under the volunteer tab or when completing your child(ren)s registration.

Q: Are canceled registrations subject to fees?

A: No, cancelation fees are not charged unless uniforms have been ordered or a player began participating in team activities.  If uniforms have been ordered a fee of $50 will be applied to any cancelled registration but the jersey is for the player to keep.

Q: What will be my team practice schedule?

A: Head coaches select practice days and times around their availability for their team.  Parents can enter under the "special request" box when registering if specific days of the week are not preferred for practice.  Head coaches are not informed of their set practice time(s) until the WPLL Head Coach Meeting (see events page on Facebook when posted).  WPLL does reserve fields 7 days a week to offer teams a variety of options. Many teams do offer a practice on Sunday to increase field time.

Q: When can parents expect to be contacted by someone with WPLL?

A: Coach Pitch, Machin Pitch, Minor, Major and Junior division parents will receive an email from a league official by January 7th, if new to WPLL or moving up into a new division.  Returners who are not attending evaluations or tryouts (except seniors) will hear from their head coach on or before January 25th.

Q: What should I do if it is telling me "contact league admin" when trying to complete registration?

A:  Message us on Facebook, ideally between 8 AM - 9 PM for quickest response or email.  Please be sure to link siblings as this often causes error messages.
