WPLL Fall Major Division Rules
.) No new inning after 8:15 PM for regular games; 8:30 PM for tournament games. An inning starts when the last out is recorded the previous inning & must be completed per normal baseball rules.
.) All teams must use the Game Changer Team Manager app. The home team is the official scorer.
.) Only 3, approved & background checked, coaches are allowed in the dugout during games.
.) Teams must exchange line up cards at the plate meeting. A complete line up card includes player's full first & last name, jersey number, and position. Any changes to the line up card are to be communicated to the umpire. Coach is to announce any ineligible pitchers during the plate meeting - discrepancies are discussed at the plate meeting.
.) Regular season innings 1 - 3 have a 5-run limit, innings 4 - 6 have no limit. Tournament games have no run limit. Run rule (mercy rules) do apply.
.) In regular season games substitutions are to be rotated. Therefore, in each game all players sit one inning before any player sits a second inning. Any variation must be communicated to the umpire & opposing coach. In the WPLL end of season tournament players will play no less than 6 defensive outs. Teams must suit 8 players in a tournament game or forfeit.
.) The home team is responsible for providing a home plate umpire. The away team is responsible for providing a base umpire. When the league provides an umpire both teams are relieved of this responsibility. Proper gear must be worn and returned following the game.
.) All other playing rules are per blue book.
.) Players & spectators are to clean out the dugout and bleachers prior to leaving the field.
.) West Pasco Little League is a NO SMOKING park. We do not allow the use of any tobacco products during practices and/or games except at the designated smoking areas which are located past the bullpens on the side of each field. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes.
