3. HOW DO I REGISTER MY PLAYER?
You either register online when registration is open by submitting payment using a credit card or attend our in-person registration dates to pay by cash or check (please see current season tab when available). You may also reach out via Facebook Messenger for assistance registering. Please register for an online account before attending the in-person registration. Please click "League Divisions" tab to determine your players league age and for which division your child would be placed. We accept accept Visa, MasterCard, money order, cash or check. If you are new to our league, proof of age (birth certificate) and proof of residency are required.
4.CAN SIBLINGS BE PLACED ON THE SAME TEAM?
Yes, in most circumstances. The siblings must be eligible for the same division and a request should be made at the time of registration to ensure the league is aware of relationship.
5. CAN MY DAUGHTER/SON PLAY ON THE SAME TEAM AS HIS FRIEND?
Yes, in some circumstances. A friend request can be made for lower divisions (AAA, AA, & Tee ball). We do our best to accommodate your request however please know that this isn't always possible. For the upper divisions (Majors and above) friend requests are not accepted.
6. CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC MANAGER / COACH?
Every season we have many requests. In many cases there are more requests than spaces available on a team. Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate all requests and we apologize in advance. We appreciate your understanding. It is our goal to evenly distribute players among the teams to create balanced teams for competitive divisions.
7. HOW DO I KNOW WHAT DIVISION MY CHILD SHOULD PLAY IN?
On the top menu, click on "Divisions". Determine your child's league age, then look for which division he/she is eligible. In addition, when registering your child, only open and available divisions will be shown on the site. If unsure please reach out via Facebook Messenger @WestPascoLittleLeague
8. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS IF REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED?
If you do not see your division listed as open you can still register and be placed on a wait list for the current season. If spots open or another team can be formed you will be contacted by a league representative. If registration is not open yet for the next season please create an account and follow our Facebook page to be notified when our next baseball season opens registration.
9. WHY ARE THERE TRYOUTS AND EVALUATIONS?
All league age 9-16 players who have not already been drafted will attend a tryout in order to be eligible for their respective division draft to be selected on a team within that division for the spring season. (Fall season players are distributed by the league but then attend a tryout in Spring.) League age 9, 10 & 11 players may get drafted to a majors team. If not, they will be placed on a AAA division team. All League age 12 players will be drafted to a majors team. All league age 13 and older registered and have attended the league tryout will be drafted on a respective Junior or Senior division team. If your son/daughter has already been drafted to a majors, juniors or seniors team, they will remain on that team until moving up to the next division. All league age 6-9 players who are new to WPLL attend an evaluation so that proper placements can be made on a AAA or AA (Minor or Rookie Division) team as we strive for competitive balance. Older divisions are determined by each respective managers awarded team and draft selections each season.
9. HOW TO DECIDE AA (ROOKIES) or TEE BALL?
All league age 6 players must play a season of tee-ball before moving up to the AA division. If a parent registers a 6 year old in AA/rookies and they have not played a season of tee-ball, they will be moved to the tee-ball division.
10. HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE 50/70 (INTERMEDIATE) TEAM?
Intermediate is a competitive division that follow Junior Division rules (runners can lead off) but on a smaller field. Any player league age 12 or 13 that would like to be considered for the intermediate division must send an email of intent to

Team managers select their practice times and are given their team specific practice times at our team manager meeting prior to managers receiving their rosters. Managers select times they as volunteer coaches have available. We appreciate you and your family making these times work so the whole team can practice together.
