Little League Baseball is not be possible without community volunteers.  At West Pasco Little League there are many opportunities to get involved including but not limited to:

Head coaches in the younger divisions are often needed.  When completing your child's registration please register for the role that is of most interest to you.  To further discuss any role please email [email protected].  Thank you in advance for making a difference in the lives of West Pasco youth.

Little League International requires all volunteers inside fences to submit a background check through JDP, which is done by registering as a volunteer on the league website.  Once registered, if selected, a link will be sent to you by a league admin.

The state of Florida, as of spring 2026, is requiring all volunteers to complete a Level 2 background check.  This expense will be covered by WPLL for all league volunteers unless volunteer chooses to pay to have their own accessible version.

Two certifications are required by Little League International:
1.) Heads Up to Youth Sports Coaches: Online Concussion Training through the CDC website.
2.) Abuse Awareness Training Course through the Little League International website.

There is no financial cost to volunteering other than the ones you may choose to make.  A little bit of time submitting or completing the above requirements will cover any volunteer for one calendar year in the majority of instances.
